Daube’s Cakes and Bakery on Civic Center Drive, one block east of Highway 52, a full line bakery with breads to wedding cakes seven days a week, as been voted Rochester’s best bakery, and is renowned for carrot cakes.

Jasper’s Alsatian Bistro and Wine Bar at 14 West Historic Third Street in downtown Rochester, a full day restaurant with wine and beer sales that opens the day with mouth watering pastries, is packed at lunch for superb salads and soups, and finishes the days with a range of non-vegetarian and vegetarian meals in the style of Alsace France with a unique mixture of French and German meals – Open Monday through Saturday.

Daube’s Down-Under in the Subway level of the US Bank Building in downtown Rochester serves light breakfasts, and a wide range of soups, sandwiches and desserts for lunch Monday through Friday.
